Blurb Boost

As an author, I know more than anyone how crucial that blurb to your book is. Aside from the cover, it's your first chance to make a good impression on a potential reader. But writing an effective blurb to hook readers can sometimes be harder than writing the book. Having to nail down what's important to share along with grabbing one's interest can be a challenge.

Lucky for me, I love the challenge. I enjoy writing blurbs when most authors don't, so I thought why not come in and help authors with their own blurbs. I have years of experience creating blurbs that sell books, having sold over 3,000+ copies. Whether you need a blurb written from scratch or would like a revision pass on what you have, I can help make sure your synopsis is as engaging as your book.

Hopeless Devotion (The Passions Series Book #3) by Nomi Palmer

An angel’s fall was only half of the story…

After witnessing a green meteor plummet into Toccova Mountain during a snowstorm, The Devereaux sisters become irrevocably entangled in Tourmaline's secret paranormal underworld. The phosphorescent crash acts as a catalyst, setting off both new and familiar chains of events.

A demon imprisoned for centuries is set loose. An otherworldly being, found without his memories, remembers only that he must hide—but not from whom. The loss of a close friend reveals there is more beyond the veil. All the while, an unseen force is waiting to emerge from the shadows.

Return to the beginning with the Devereaux sisters, where passions are immortal but devotion can be hopeless.

It’s 332 BC and the animosity between Lola Scott and her employer has reached a boiling point. As the covenant’s Scorpion, Lola has become a liability. Looking to restore her standing on the team, Lola accepts a mission to steal the mythical Book of Ra from Alexander the Great’s possession. As if the odds weren’t already stacked against her, her boss assigns his nephew, Charley, to join her. Another cause for concern is the reemergence of an old flame in the emperor’s inner circle, who shares Lola’s objective. To complete her mission, Lola must outmaneuver both friend and foe in a game where one wrong move could see her lose everything.

In the year 800 AD, Mallaidh is the neglected princess of an Irish clan king. With her spinster status, Mallaidh has accepted being the forgotten daughter of the all-powerful monarch. What she doesn’t realize is she hasn’t gone unnoticed by a warrior who has his own plans for her. After coercing her into a deal she can’t get out of, the warrior prompts Mallaidh to take notice of a life she never knew she could have. As the time passes, their hostile partnership soon gives way for more. But when threats from the Northmen against her homeland mount, Mallaidh is left to choose between her duty to her people or the escape from her predestined fate.

Now, as her past and present identities converge, Lola must confront the truth of who she really is. With her two fates linked together and intertwined with history’s most powerful emperor, she’ll discover what it takes to claim a destiny.
